1. Introduction
These Master Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the registration, access and use of the MahaBachatGat Consultancy Portal (“Portal”) by every Consultant.
By registering, paying the applicable Platform Registration Fee, or using the Portal, the Consultant agrees to be legally bound by these Terms, the Consultant Registration & Service Listing Agreement, and all applicable Portal Policies.
2. About the Portal
The Portal is a digital technology platform that enables Consultants to create professional profiles, publish consultancy service listings and connect with Self Help Groups (SHGs), Women Entrepreneurs, businesses, NGOs, FPOs, startups and other Service Buyers across India.
The Portal facilitates discovery and communication but does not itself provide consultancy services.
3. Definitions
For these Terms:
• Portal means consultancy.mahabachatgat.in.
• Consultant means any individual or legal entity registered to offer consultancy or professional services.
• Service Buyer means any person or organization seeking consultancy services through the Portal.
• Platform Registration Fee means the registration and listing fee prescribed by the Portal.
• Listing means any Consultant profile, service description, pricing or related content published on the Portal.
4. Eligibility
The Consultant represents and warrants that:
• they are legally competent to enter into binding contracts;
• all information submitted is accurate and complete;
• they possess the qualifications, skills or experience required for the services offered;
• they shall comply with applicable laws and Portal Policies.
The Portal may refuse or cancel registration if eligibility requirements are not satisfied.
5. Nature of Relationship
The Consultant acknowledges that:
• the Portal is only a technology platform;
• the Consultant is an independent professional;
• no employer-employee, agency, partnership, franchise or joint venture relationship is created.
The Consultant is solely responsible for all consultancy services provided.
6. Registration
Consultant registration is subject to:
• submission of accurate information;
• acceptance of applicable legal documents;
• payment of the prescribed Platform Registration Fee;
• administrative approval by the Portal.
Registration becomes effective only after approval by the Portal.
7. Platform Registration Fee
The Consultant shall pay the prescribed Platform Registration Fee together with applicable GST.
The Platform Registration Fee is charged solely for:
• registration;
• profile creation;
• service listings;
• access to Portal facilities;
• hosting;
• technical support;
• platform administration.
Payment of the Platform Registration Fee does not guarantee enquiries, projects, clients or income.
8. Consultant Listings
Consultants shall ensure that all listings:
• are accurate;
• are lawful;
• are professional;
• are not misleading;
• fairly describe the services offered;
• disclose pricing honestly.
The Portal may edit, reject, suspend or remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable Portal Policies.
9. Professional Responsibilities
The Consultant shall:
• provide services honestly and ethically;
• communicate professionally with Service Buyers;
• maintain professional competence;
• avoid misleading representations;
• comply with applicable laws;
• protect confidential information received during consultancy assignments.
10. Consultancy Fees
The Consultant shall independently determine consultancy fees.
All negotiations regarding scope of work, deliverables, pricing, timelines and payment shall take place directly between the Consultant and the Service Buyer.
11. Payments
The Consultant acknowledges that:
• consultancy payments are made directly by the Service Buyer;
• the Portal does not collect consultancy fees;
• the Portal does not process consultancy payments;
• the Portal does not hold client funds;
• the Portal does not deduct commission or brokerage.
The Portal receives only the Platform Registration Fee payable by the Consultant.
12. Taxation
The Consultant remains solely responsible for compliance with all applicable tax laws, including:
• GST;
• Income Tax;
• Professional Tax;
• statutory registrations;
• invoicing;
• maintenance of books of account;
• tax filings and other legal obligations.
The Portal shall issue tax invoices only for amounts collected directly by it.
13. Privacy & Confidentiality
The Consultant shall:
• protect confidential information;
• respect the privacy of Service Buyers;
• use personal information only for lawful professional purposes;
• comply with applicable data protection requirements.
14. Intellectual Property
The Consultant retains ownership of original content submitted to the Portal but grants the Portal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote such content for operating and marketing the Portal.
All Portal trademarks, logos, software and branding remain the exclusive property of the MahaBachatGat Ecosystem.
15. Acceptable Use
The Consultant shall not:
• submit false information;
• publish unlawful or misleading content;
• infringe third-party intellectual property;
• misuse the Portal;
• engage in fraud;
• upload malicious software;
• interfere with Portal operations.
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
16. Suspension & Termination
The Portal may suspend or terminate Consultant accounts for:
• breach of these Terms;
• violation of Portal Policies;
• fraudulent or unlawful conduct;
• repeated complaints;
• regulatory requirements;
• misuse of the Portal.
Termination shall not affect obligations that survive by their nature.
17. Disclaimer
The Portal provides technology and listing services only.
The Portal does not:
• guarantee consultancy assignments;
• verify every professional claim;
• guarantee service quality;
• supervise consultancy engagements;
• act as a party to contracts between Consultants and Service Buyers.
Consultants and Service Buyers engage entirely at their own discretion and risk.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the MahaBachatGat Consultancy Portal, its promoters, officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from:
• consultancy engagements;
• independent contracts;
• payment disputes;
• professional advice;
• actions or omissions of Consultants or Service Buyers.
19. Indemnification
The Consultant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Portal, its promoters, directors, officers, employees and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from:
• breach of these Terms;
• breach of applicable law;
• professional negligence;
• inaccurate information submitted by the Consultant;
• disputes with Service Buyers.
20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
21. Amendments
The Portal may revise these Terms from time to time.
Revised Terms become effective upon publication on the Portal unless otherwise specified.
Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Consultants may contact the Portal through the official contact details published on consultancy.mahabachatgat.in for registration support, compliance matters, grievances and other administrative communications.
